1. Capt’n Boat at the Nautic Paris Boat Show
This year ends in beauty for Capt’n Boat with the last boat show of the year which is the Nautic Paris Boat Show.
We already participated to the Nautic in 2019. That year, we presented the platform that had just been put online and our service had been very well received by visitors and professionals.
We have increased our team since then, and we are looking forward to seeing you this year!
It is with great impatience that we are waiting for this new edition of the Nautic Paris Boat Show to present you all our new features and to meet you.
Capt’n Boat will welcome you all along the show on 2 stands:
- Stand 1: Hall 1, in the Tourism and Rental area
Stand No.: C 28 - Stand 2: Hall 1, in the Innovation area.
We have the honor to be finalist of the Nautic 2021 Innovation Contest; this allows us to benefit from a second stand on the Innovation area. (We tell you more about it in point 2.)

Events
Meet the skipper Sébastien Marsset and embark on the Vendée Globe 2024!
At 36 years old, Sébastien Marsset is one of those complete skippers, known for his participations as a crew member in prestigious teams. He already has 14 victories, more than 80,000 miles of racing experience, from the Mini 6.50 to the world’s largest trimaran, with 2 round-the-world races and 7 transatlantic races.
It is with this sporting spirit, ambitious and challenging, that he has set himself the goal of racing in the Vendée Globe 2024.
The skipper Sébastien Marsset, just back from the Jacques Vabre transatlantic race, will be present on the Capt’n Boat stand on Tuesday, December 7, to exchange with you and meet new partners to join his project.
2. Capt’n Boat laureate of the Nautic 2021 Innovation Contest
Capt’n Boat has been selected to be the winner of the Nautic Paris Boat Show Innovation Contest in the Service category!
We will be present on the Innovation area of the Nautic to present our service innovations for the employment of professional sailors and to facilitate access to yachting!
Presentation of the Innovation Contest
For this competition 3 criteria are taken into account:
- Facilitate the practice of nautism
- Participate in the ecological transition
- Be part of an entrepreneurial process
Capt’n Boat answers these 3 criteria:
Our goal is to facilitate the connection between boat owners and professional sailors for cruising, coaching or boat delivery needs. We allow boat owners / ship owners to find qualified and insured sailors.
By promoting experienced professionals, we guarantee sailors who respect their primary environment: the sea and the oceans. We support a practice that is controlled and conscious of the ecological necessity.
Finally, Capt’n Boat is above all the entrepreneurial story of Emeric, its founder. Skipper, holder of a Yachtmaster degree, Emeric identified a real need in the connection between sailors and shipowners.
From this observation was born Capt’n Boat; after having raised several funds from Mer Angels, the Capt’n Boat platform was born.
There is still a lot to do: the creation of an application is underway and we also have ambitions to expand internationally.
The Innovation Contest final
➡ The Innovation Contest final will take place on Saturday, December 11th on the Nautic stage.
Emeric, CEO and founder of Capt’n Boat will present his development project for Capt’n Boat during 3 minutes.
The final is open to all, we expect you to come and support Capt’n Boat!
3. The Nautic Paris Boat Show, the meeting place for the nautical industry
Presentation of the Nautic
For many years, the Nautic Paris Boat Show gathers actors of the nautical industry during 9 days in Porte de Versailles, the biggest indoor port of France.
This year, a wind of freedom and dynamism is blowing on the nautical sector, and the Nautic 2021 will be the reflection of it!
The desire to escape, the innovations, the previews, the environment and the ecological transition will be highlighted for this edition, which brings together more than 750 exhibitors and presents more than 1,000 boats (sailboats, catamarans and motorboats).
A multitude of products and services will also be proposed in order to give a global vision of boating:
- Various equipment and accessories
- Innovative products and services
- Travel destinations and cruise sales agency
The Nautic Paris Boat Show will also be the occasion of special events such as:
- The Nautic Paddle, the biggest paddle race in the world under the bridges of Paris, on Sunday morning, December 5th.
- The Innovation Contest final on Saturday, December 11th.
- The various prize-giving ceremonies on the Nautic stage on Sunday, December 12th

- Every day from 10am to 7pm
- Nocturne on Friday, December 10th until 11pm

- Hall 1 : Space dedicated to the exhibition of boats, nautical supports, destinations and rentals
- Hall 2: Space reserved for all equipment
